At Natural Leaven, we give you bread the way it was intended to be. We bring back traditional baking techniques to handcraft fresh breads with character. As Singapore’s first organic sourdough artisan bakery, we bake fresh breads 6 days a week.

Unlike most commercial breads, sourdoughs contain no preservatives, additives, flavorings, or improvers in the dough. The dough is naturally leavened, hence it may take almost two days from starter cultivation to final product!

This additional time allows the flavours in the bread to intensify.

The result is nutritious and natural loaves exuding earthy aromas vastly different from normal yeasted breads.

As an artisan bakery, we use minimal machinery. Our breads are shaped and hand-crafted by experienced bakers. Signature slashes, distingushing the different bread types, are made on each unbaked loaf entering the stone-floored oven.
